Where do we come from?
Seeds of Dignity was founded in 2024 in Switzerland. It flourishes thanks to the dedication of its volunteers—both in the communities where the program is being developed and in Switzerland, where the Association has its headquarters.
The vision first emerged in 2015, in the search for tools to bring support and restoration to women facing abuse and sexual exploitation, unable to access counseling due to financial or geographical barriers.
In 2019, the core program was built through a facilitator training and later a partnership with The Dignity Campaign organization in South Africa.
From that experience, the program began to grow and develop with the unique DNA of Seeds of Dignity, shaping the mission that continues to expand today.
Where do we work?
Seeds of Dignity was first developed in Switzerland and has been shaped on the island of Hispaniola since September 2020, reaching Dominican and Haitian girls and women.
Its vision, however, extends further: to expand this Campaign for Dignity beyond borders and, in time, to also engage boys and men through adapted programs.
